Presenter Profile & FAQs

For your speaker promo, please submit the title of your topic, an image of you that you want to use, a short bio and a link or links to any social media channel(s) you’d like us to include, as well as the URL for your website, where applicable. If you don’t already have a bio prepared, check the bottom of our Home page (our most recent speaker may still be there) as well as the Speakers page for inspiration and ideas of what to include. Your photo will be in color until it moves to the Speakers page, sometime after the event. We’re also including a brief FAQ below the form.


    How much time will be allotted for my presentation?
    You’ll need to plan for at least 20 minutes but no more than 30, including any Q&A you want to offer. So you could, for instance, do a 20 minute presentation with 10 minutes for Q&A, for a total of 30 minutes.

    What should my presentation be about?
    Anything you want, really! PWSJ is all about empowering women both personally and professionally. So you can talk about anything that educates and/or entertains in those areas. But it should also be something you could be considered an expert in. It should be about sharing knowledge that you actually have. Handouts are encouraged. This should not, however, be a 30 minute “commercial” for your business (see next FAQ).

    Can I make an offer during my presentation?
    Yes, but since we are a networking group and not a selling group, we ask that you keep it brief and save it for the end of your presentation.
